Hanoi Street Food Map: For Those Itching to Self-Explore
Welcome to Truly Voyage’s Hanoi street food roadmap! We’ve spent years (and many, many full bellies) handpicking the absolute best stalls in the city. This map is your handpicked list of delicious street food stalls (that hopefully have yet to be turned into tourist traps due to their rising popularity) in our 1,000-year-old capital.

Why We Built This Map
Did you know that Hanoi's street food culture really took off because of the city's unique architecture? Because the houses in the Old Quarter were historically very narrow and deep (called "tube houses"), there wasn't much room for big kitchens.

Families started cooking and selling food right on the sidewalk. This created a web of often hidden foodstalls that have been maintaining and improving on a specific recipe for generations. So good luck finding them all.
We have personally eaten here and love every single bite. If you have spotted a place that has changed its address, do let us know through our contact form below!
For now, have fun and come hungry!
