Because Bharata caters to Indian dietary laws, it is also hands-down the best place on the mountain for strict Vegetarians and Vegans. They have clearly marked meat-free and Jain-friendly sections, so you don't have to guess what is in the soup broth!

• The Food: They have a dedicated Tandoor corner serving fresh naan, rich chicken curries, and flavorful vegetable biryani. Because they cater to Indian dietary laws, they have clearly marked Jain-friendly and meat-free sections. You never have to guess if someone snuck fish sauce into your soup broth!
• The Price: The lunch buffet costs 380,000 VND (about $15 USD) for adults.

Finally, when the afternoon sun peeks through the clouds and the kids start getting cranky, head over to the Saint Denis Church. Right next to it is the Mango Holic Store.

They serve fresh mango ice cream that is absolutely out of this world. It is the best quick sugar rush on the mountain to keep everyone happy before the cable car ride back down.

A Quick Word on Timing

Some folks like to eat lunch around noon or 1:00 PM. Here is the problem: so do the 5,000 people who arrived on tour buses that morning.

If you want to keep your sanity, try to eat lunch slightly early at 11:00 AM, or push it late to around 2:00 PM. You will miss the worst of the lunch rush, the buffet trays will be fresh, and you won't have to fight for a table.

Gardens, Pagodas & Spiritual Landmarks

• The Lover's Archway (Uyên Ương Garden): If you are traveling as a couple, this is your spot. It features gorgeous, perfectly manicured floral arches that frame the mountain peaks in the background.

It is a spacious, beautifully lit cellar dug deep into the mountain, and the temperature is naturally kept at a perfectly cool 16 to 20 degrees Celsius year-round. It feels amazing after walking out in the sun.

The French colonists actually built this cellar way back in 1923! That means it is over 100 years old. They carved it deep into the solid rock to keep their imported European wines perfectly chilled during the brutal Vietnamese summers.

Here is what you need to know before you walk in:

• The Entrance Fee: Unlike the Fantasy Park, the wine cellar requires a separate entry ticket. It costs 100,000 VND for Silver, 200,000 VND for Gold, and 300,000 VND for Platinum (roughly $4 to $12 USD).
