We begin to visit Bayon Temple. At the exact center of Angkor Thom, this is an eccentric expression of the creative genius and inflated ego of Cambodia’s most celebrated king. Photo stop at Terrace of the Leper King. Along the Terrace of Elephants, originally used as a viewing gallery for the king to preside over parades, performances and traditional sports. At the southern end lies the Baphuon, once of the most beautiful temples at Angkor, dating from the reign of Uditayavarman 1 in the 11th century.
12:00 Lunch will be served at Ptess Borran Restaurant.
Visit the picturesque Ta Prohm that had nearly disappeared into the jungle and remains overgrown, an oddly haunting and exotic scene. The magnificent roots of a tree, pushing between the huge stone blocks of the temple in a sort of embrace, evoke feelings that you may remember forever.
We journey out to the mother of all temples, Angkor Wat. Believed to be the world's largest religious building, this temple is the perfect fusion of symbolism and symmetry and a source of pride and strength to all Khmers.
19:00 – you will transfer to enjoy dinner at Morakot Angkor Restaurant
Dinner with Apsara Dance show
For those travelers thirsting for cultural highlights of Cambodia, no visit to Cambodia is complete without attending at least one traditional Khmer dance performance, often referred to as 'Apsara Dance' after one of the most popular Classical dance pieces. Traditional Khmer dance better described as 'dance-drama' in that the dances are not merely dance but also meant to convey a story or message. -
DAY 12
After breakfast.
08:30am We depart to Preah Khan Temple. It is located northeast of Angkor Thom and just west of the Jayatataka baray, with which it was associated. It was the center of a substantial organization, with almost 100,000 officials and servants. Next is Neak Poan, “the entwined snakes” is a small temple located on an island in the center of the now dry Jayatataka baray, a water reservoir 3,500-meter-long and 900 meter wide. Continue to Tasom offers some beautiful photo spots, especially the rear entrance where tree roots adorn the gateway.
We will visit the Landmine Museum where Mr. Aki Ra, a child soldier in the Khmer Rouge, has dedicated his life to helping those in need. Having spent most of his childhood fighting for the Khmer Rouge, Mr. Aki Ra was trained by the United Nations to detonate land mines; His fantastic work earned him a nomination for CNN Hero of the Year in 2010.
12:00 Lunch will be served at Rom Chang Angkor Restaurant.
Drive to the rural outskirt 35km from Angkor area to visit the smallest, but magnificent, Banteay Srei built in the 10th Century and dedicated to Shiva. The temple was the birthplace of Khmer classical style architecture and the bas-relief work is the best example of Khmer classical art remaining. The pink sandstone structure bears a series of striking and beautiful sculptures, lintels, pediments and friezes. Khmers say the temple must have been carved by women for the details are too fine for the hands of a man. On the way back stop at Pradark Village, where you will see the villagers making palm sugar, handicraft for selling to tourist. It’s a nice chance for you to see the local people living at the country side with their struggling for daily life.

- Cyclo Overcharging: Cyclo drivers might offer a ride without discussing the price, then demand an exorbitant fee at the end. Avoidance Tip: Always agree on a fare before starting the ride.

- Shoe Shine Scam: Someone points out dirt on your shoes and starts cleaning them without consent, then demands payment. Avoidance Tip: Firmly decline any unsolicited services.
Currency and Payment Scams
- Currency Confusion: Vietnamese dong notes can look similar, leading to overpayment. Avoidance Tip: Familiarize yourself with the currency and double-check notes during transactions.
- ATM Skimming: Hidden devices can capture your card information. Avoidance Tip: Use ATMs located inside banks and cover the keypad when entering your PIN.
Accommodation and Tour Scams
- Fake Hotel Claims: Taxi drivers may falsely claim your hotel is closed and take you to a different one for a commission. Avoidance Tip: Insist on going to your booked hotel and contact them directly if in doubt.
- Tour Operator Scams: Some operators might offer subpar services or not deliver as promised. Avoidance Tip: Book tours through reputable agencies and read reviews beforehand.
Online and Digital Scams
- Fake eVisa Websites: Scammers create websites resembling official visa portals. Avoidance Tip: Only apply for visas through the official government site: https://evisa.gov.vn/.
